<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a HR Generalist in Armonk, NY.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>HR Generalist will work closely with HR Partners to strategize about HR programs to benefit workplace culture </li><li>Assist in developing and executing procedures, policies, and procedures, provide guidance and interpretation for business </li><li>Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements </li><li>Assist in administering employee performance, leadership and development programs </li><li>Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR </li><li>As a HR Generalist, you will ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, update policies and procedures as appropriate </li><li>Be primary backup for HR Partner business support and be the lead for various projects </li><li>Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and other employee-related matters </li><li>Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, and contribute to policy development* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business or related field plus 5+ years of direct experience </li><li>Knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary </li><li>Proven success working in HR </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness </li><li>Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies </li><li>Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail and analytically driven </li><li>Ability to turn data into clear and impactful stories to drive forward a message to leaders and stakeholders and gain support </li></ul> <p>Nice to have:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field </li><li>Advanced certification such as PHR, SPHR, or GPHR </li><li>Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment </li></ul>
