<p>Maintenance Mechanic</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Maintenance team is responsible for safely maintaining, repairing and installing manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum productivity of the operation.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that safety policies, housekeeping rules and guidelines, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed. </li><li>Maintain, install and repair industrial parts and equipment within the plant to ensure a safe and reliable day to day operation of the plant equipment. </li><li>Collaborate with Maintenance and Management to troubleshoot repairs and manage regular maintenance and compliance programs. </li><li>Perform routine equipment preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication and inspection. </li><li>Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures. </li><li>Record and maintain documentation relating to maintenance activities and calibrations. </li><li>Complete daily site inspections and required reporting. </li><li>Understand all areas within the facility to include safe lock out procedures and equipment guarding. </li><li>Identify issues and unsafe work conditions and implement the required corrective actions. </li><li>Set-up, maintain and operate shop tools and equipment. </li><li>Manage spare part, supply and equipment inventories. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation. </li><li>Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications. </li><li>Ability to work independently in a busy environment. </li><li>Experience with routine maintenance operations. </li><li>Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. </li><li>Able to work well under pressure. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Knowledge of safe operating procedures. </li><li>Self-starter, with developed analytical and troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. </li></ul> <p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>8 hour shift </li></ul> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>401(k) matching </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Employee assistance program </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>8 hour shift </li><li>Day shift </li><li>Holidays </li><li>Overtime </li></ul> <p>Work Location: In person</p>
