<p>What you do:</p> <p>Client Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a senior client facing representative for AZRA </li><li>Meet Brokers, clients; attend conferences, organize meetings for the team at conferences </li><li>Management of the transaction process; Responsibility for negotiating final price and terms </li><li>In conjunction with the Sr Underwriter approve transaction within a specific authority limit </li><li>Organize underwriting and claim audits; attend some audits </li><li>Articulate scope and appetite to clients/ brokers; turn down transactions </li><li>Find new markets for AZRA to explore - ie mutual insurers </li><li>Manage legacy brokers and legacy transactions </li></ul> <p>Transaction role</p> <ul> <li>Structure, negotiate and price deals along with actuary / underwriters; </li><li>Work with legal on wordings and contract language; manage legacy contract process </li><li>Governance - ensure that contracts meet exclusions (EET) / sanctions / ESG requirements </li><li>Lead audit responses ; be knowledgeable of group and local U/W guidelines </li></ul> <p>Skill Sets Required</p> <ul> <li>Deep knowledge of Reinsurance Market - Junior broker </li><li>Underwriting experience a plus; knowledge of reinsurance transactions and lines of business </li></ul> <p>Base Salary Range $160,000 - $200,000</p> <p>Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location.
