<p>This role strengthens delivery discipline and financial stewardship across the portfolio by ensuring accountability, predictability, and proactive management of value, budget, and scope. The Senior Technical Program Manager 3 establishes and enforces delivery standards, operating cadence, and performance metrics to ensure work is executed predictably, within budget, and aligned with defined outcomes, and drives corrective action when delivery behaviors fall below expectations. The position provides portfolio-wide visibility into value delivery, budget utilization, and scope adherence, surfacing risks early and leading interventions to maintain discipline and optimize performance. It also ensures strong alignment between business objectives and execution by guiding prioritization, resource allocation, and investment decisions, influencing leaders and teams to adopt mature delivery practices that maximize impact across pillars.</p> <p>This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.</p> <p>We value early, mid and late-career candidates and encourage all applicants with the posted skills and abilities to apply.</p> <p>Provide leadership during solution development and deployment</p> <p>Ensure the requirements of the program/project from inception to delivery are identified and followed</p> <p>Assist program leaders in validating project/program scope, schedule, resource plans and statements of work</p> <p>Define the tasks and priorities within a program/project</p> <p>Working with functional managers, identifies project managers and engineering team members</p> <p>Champion development processes to complete solutions according to commitments and approved standards</p> <p>Participate with development team leadership in oversight, prioritization and delivery of work products including iteration and release planning</p> <p>Lead project reviews to assess schedule, solution architecture and process adherence.</p> <p>Provide continuous assessment of project risks with mitigation approaches and dependency management</p> <p>Execute complex projects - particularly enterprise-level applications</p> <p>Mentors Program Manager reporting directly to Senior Program Manager to ensure they are successful in their assignments</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience </li><li>Eight years of technical program or project management experience. This experience should be in areas pertinent to the organization's IT directions - i.e. java development, network engineering, infrastructure development, etc. including six years is a management or leadership role with responsibilities for project management </li><li>Relevant hands-on experience as a software developer, network engineer, systems engineer or security analyst </li><li>Track record of executing complex projects - particularly enterprise-level applications </li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships </li><li>Ability to negotiate and positively influence people at all levels of the organization </li><li>Excellent analytical skills </li><li>Ability to think critically and decompose complex problems into coherent technology strategy and solutions.
