<p>Pomona, CA</p> <p>Chino Ca 3166</p> <p>$22.00/Per Hour</p> <p>Lathed / Cnc Machinist</p> <ul> <li>Job Description </li><li>Branch Details </li></ul> <p>We are now hiring a Lathed / CNC Machinist for a great manufacturer of custom machinery for production of corn and flour tortillas in Pomona.</p> <p>Job Title: Lathed / CNC Machinist</p> <p>Pay Rate: $22/hr.</p> <p>Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <p>A lathe machine tool that rotates a workpiece about an axis of rotation to perform various operations such as cutting, sanding, knurling, drilling, deformation, facing, threading and turning, with tools that are applied to the workpiece to create an object with symmetry about that axis.</p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan the best process for machining </li><li>Compute dimensions and tolerances from conventional blueprints and CAD drawings using Mastercam and be able to design in Mastercam and be proficient in Four Axis programming </li><li>Write programs for a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce precision parts </li><li>Ensure dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications by verifying with the machine operator </li><li>Provide set-up drawings and tool lists for machine tool operators </li><li>Solid Works or Solid Edge is a plus and/or willingness to learn Solid Edge </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years experience in Lathe Machinist </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>1-2 years CNC Machinist Experience </li><li>Math Skills </li><li>Detail Oriented </li><li>Ability to read blue prints and follow basic directions. </li><li>Possess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, and manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines </li></ul> <p>Chino CA 3166</p>
