<p>Catering Manager Job Description</p> <p>Role Overview:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all aspects of the catering program: operations, growth, sustainability, and training. </li><li>Manage channels of operation: online orders, phone-in orders, Inktel orders, pick-up, and delivery. </li><li>Build relationships with guests and community (businesses, schools, churches, etc. ). </li><li>Train TL and Catering Specialists in catering systems, food safety, and order execution. </li><li>Collaborate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure food quality and timely order fulfillment. </li><li>Develop fundraising opportunities and manage off-site events </li></ul> <p>Objectives:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure smooth daily catering order execution through FOH and BOH communication. </li><li>Master catering systems and tools (Pathways, Inktel, Catering Management Tool, etc. ). </li><li>Provide hospitable pick-up and delivery experiences. </li><li>Train drivers and maintain compliance with insurance and payroll standards. </li><li>Focus on sales growth and special event coordination. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Daily:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate catering order needs with FOH and BOH teams. </li><li>Greet guests with hospitality and offer complimentary beverages for pick-up orders. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery. </li><li>Maintain customer account information and compliance logs. </li></ul> <p>Weekly:</p> <ul> <li>Review orders and responsibilities with FOH and BOH teams. </li><li>Write thank-you notes to guests and maintain catering prep space cleanliness. </li><li>Create supply orders for catering accessories. </li></ul> <p>Monthly:</p> <ul> <li>Meet with the Director of Leadership Development to discuss plans and promotions. </li><li>Review sales and CEM scores against goals. </li><li>Maintain a monthly calendar for events and prepare huddles for Shift Leaders. </li></ul> <p>Quarterly:</p> <ul> <li>Train new TL and CS as needed. </li><li>Plan vacation schedules to ensure coverage during critical catering days. </li></ul> <p>Yearly:</p> <ul> <li>Plan sales goals, tools, and budget for the next year's catering strategy. </li></ul> <p>Direct Reports:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises Catering Specialists during scheduled catering functions. </li><li>Communicates effectively with TL, Shift Leaders, and CS for team success. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication, hospitality, and influencing skills. </li><li>Detail-oriented, efficient time manager, and multi-tasker. </li><li>Proficient in catering systems, food safety, and kitchen operations. </li></ul> <p>Location: Chick-Fil-A Springdale located at 501 E Kemper Rd.
