This position is only available for in-office work. The hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.</p> <p>Are you a forward-thinking team player who is determined to succeed? We strive to create an environment where employees feel empowered to thrive personally and professionally.</p> <p>A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY CASE MANAGER</p> <p>As a Social Security Disability Case Manager, you will find rewarding work teaming up with other CM's and attorneys at RHS to move disability claims through the often-lengthy filing process with the Social Security Administration. Daily work includes preparing applications and appeals, ordering medical records, submitting medical updates to the administration, and utilizing various SSA websites to monitor the status of cases. In addition, you will interact often via phone with our clients, medical providers, and the administration as just one facet of diligently handling our cases. Being a compassionate person with a keen sense of attention to detail will make you a perfect fit for our growing team of attorneys and Case Managers. We prioritize helping our clients through this difficult time in their lives.</p> <p>Your positive, can-do attitude makes you a joy to work with for both clients and staff alike. While you are organized and love the satisfaction of getting things done, you are also a people person and enjoy interacting with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and fellow staff throughout your workday. You feel great about working for an ethical firm where customer service is a priority and you can feel good about helping people through difficult times in their lives.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY CASE MANAGER</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Office365 and working with computers/office technology </li><li>Minimum 1-3 years of customer service experience </li><li>Previous experience with Social Security laws and procedures <em>Preferred</em> </li><li>Excellent computer and typing skills </li><li>Ability to maintain knowledge of law firm policies and procedures </li><li>The urgency to provide above-and-beyond customer service </li></ul> <p>Are you able to prioritize tasks effectively?
