<p>Project Engineer/Designer</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>3S Incorporated is seeking an entry level designer or engineer to design special hazard fire suppression and fire alarm systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design life safety and asset protection systems using AutoCAD and proprietary software applications </li><li>Update existing drawings </li><li>Direct contractors in proper system installation and operation </li><li>Survey job sites to ensure proper system design and installation </li><li>Assist in system startups and commissioning </li><li>Assist with system inspection and maintenance </li><li>Create project specific operation and maintenance manuals </li><li>Assist office staff with engineering related tasks </li><li>Attend manufacturer training classes </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>List minimum requirements for education, experience, and proficiencies</p> <ul> <li>Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting </li><li>Understanding of MS Office applications </li><li>Good organizational skills </li><li>Able to communicate technical information </li><li>Desire to learn industry standards </li><li>Willingness to study for and obtain NICET certification </li></ul> <p>Benefits and Compensation</p> <p>This role will be based out of our Harrison, OH branch.
