<p>Commercial Roofing Foreman - Production Area</p> <p>Location: Shelbyville, KY (Louisville Market)</p> <p>Division: Commercial Roofing - Production</p> <p>Reports To: Superintendent / Project Manager</p> <p>Employment Type: Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt)</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Holland Roofing Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman - Production Area to lead field crews supporting our Louisville, KY market. This is a hands-on production leadership role for a proven commercial roofer who can immediately supervise crews, manage jobsite execution, and uphold strict safety and quality standards.</p> <p>This position is ideal for a Foreman who wants to strengthen leadership responsibilities over time, expand operational decision-making, and grow into broader field leadership as the business evolves.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Production & Jobsite Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead daily commercial roofing production activities from job setup through completion. </li><li>Supervise roofing crews to ensure projects are completed safely, watertight, on schedule, and within scope. </li><li>Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to maximize productivity and efficiency. </li><li>Verify installation of EPDM, TPO, PVC, and sheet metal systems per specifications. </li><li>Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance standards are met. </li><li>Submit daily production reports, safety documentation, and timecards. </li></ul> <p>Crew Supervision & Development</p> <ul> <li>Direct, train, and mentor roofers and laborers on proper installation methods and safety practices. </li><li>Assign tasks clearly and monitor crew performance and workmanship. </li><li>Communicate daily production goals, safety expectations, and job priorities. </li><li>Promote accountability, teamwork, and professionalism on every jobsite. </li></ul> <p>Safety & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Enforce OSHA regulations, fall protection requirements, and company safety policies. </li><li>Conduct daily hazard inspections and weekly safety meetings. </li><li>Ensure proper use of PPE, safety lines, guardrails, and warning systems. </li><li>Remove unsafe tools or equipment from service immediately. </li></ul> <p>Coordination & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Maintain clear communication with the Superintendent and Project Manager regarding progress, labor needs, materials, and safety concerns. </li><li>Serve as the on-site representative with customers, general contractors, and inspectors. </li><li>Address field issues professionally and escalate concerns appropriately. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3+ years of commercial roofing experience, including supervisory responsibility. </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with EPDM, TPO, PVC, and sheet metal systems. </li><li>Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, fall protection, and jobsite safety practices. </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and material specifications. </li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Basic mobile and computer reporting skills. </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. </li><li>Must provide own basic hand tools and safety gear. </li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. </li></ul> <p>Certifications (Required or Obtainable Within 6 Months)</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 10 or 30 </li><li>CPR & First Aid </li><li>Fall Protection </li></ul> <p>Physical & Work Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Lift and carry 30-50 lbs regularly. </li><li>Work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs. </li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. </li><li>Overtime, travel, and weekend work as required. </li></ul> <p>Why Holland Roofing</p> <ul> <li>Stable commercial workload and strong regional presence </li><li>Safety-first culture and structured leadership support </li><li>Opportunity to grow into broader field leadership responsibilities over time </li></ul> <p>Accessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process please contact Human Resources at</p> <p>Phone: (859) 817-2258</p> <p>Email: HR@hollandroofing.com</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.</p> <p>If you want to view the Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal poster, please choose your language: English - Spanish - Arabic - Chinese</p> <p>English - Spanish - Chinese</p> <p>If you want to view the Pay Transparency Policy Statement, please click the link: English</p> <p>To see other positions, click here.</p>
