<p>Immediately Hiring</p> <p>Job Title: Quality Engineering Specialist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineering Specialist to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility in Kokomo, Indiana, specializing in high-purity electrolytes for the electric vehicle (EV) battery industry. This role is instrumental in supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and industry certifications such as ISO 9001 and IATF. Our mission is to improve lithium-ion battery performance, making a significant impact in the rapidly growing EV market.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). </li><li>Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and industry certifications including ISO 9001 and IATF. </li><li>Conduct quality inspections to maintain product integrity. </li><li>Support internal and external audits. </li><li>Analyze quality data to identify areas for improvement. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to drive product and process improvements. </li><li>Contribute to reducing defects and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role within an ISO 9001 or IATF certified environment. </li><li>Experience in the chemical, automotive, or battery materials industry. </li><li>Proficiency in quality engineering and quality management systems. </li><li>Strong compliance knowledge with ISO 9001 standards. </li><li>Bilingual in English and Korean. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility that is temperature controlled. The environment includes a nice office space, a welcoming lobby, break rooms, restrooms, and a manufacturing floor with large blender/mixer machines. The team is currently composed of about 30 employees, with plans to grow to 75.
