<p>Description</p> <p>Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.</p> <p>NY State License Clinical Laboratory Technologist</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Performs laboratory tests relevant to the section(s) in which they are assigned including quality control testing following established criteria. </li><li>In addition, performs clerical and computer related activities and phlebotomy with a degree of supervision dependent on experience and training. This individual interacts with patients of all ages. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in laboratory related area. </li><li>Licensure/Registration/Certification: ASCP preferred </li></ul> <p>Work Experience:</p> <p>One year full time or equivalent hospital experience including phlebotomy.</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity</p> <p>Occupational: Some occupational risk</p> <p>Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort.
