<p>The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools, and/or buildings on a routine basis at a previously established optimum frequency.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan, coordinate and perform preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools, and/or buildings </li><li>Review manufacturers' service manuals, facility's usage schedules, records of maintenance problems, and inspection and repair reports to determine optimum frequency of preventive maintenance </li><li>Study production and operation schedules and confer with staff to determine when to perform planned maintenance to avoid interference with operations of facility </li><li>Schedule and perform inspections of equipment, machinery, tools, and/or buildings </li><li>Maintain records of planned and completed maintenance </li><li>Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities </li><li>Conduct process inspection, certification, and documentation as needed </li><li>Other duties and special projects as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School graduate or GED equivalent </li><li>Minimum 2-3 years production maintenance experience </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize with an emphasis on quality of work </li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment </li><li>Demonstrates a high level of customer service and strong communication (both listening and speaking) and interpersonal skills </li><li>Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture </li><li>Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s) </li><li>Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and/or completion of a craft apprenticeship or technical certification preferred </li><li>Greater than 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician preferred </li><li>Previous TIG and stick welding experience preferred </li></ul>
