<p>Primary Function:</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance and repair of</p> <p>distribution equipment as well as general maintenance of the facility.</p> <p>Values:</p> <p>To perform the job successfully, the incumbent's behavior must be consistent with the PRIDE values expected of</p> <p>all Mastronardi Produce employees: be Passionate; have Respect; be Innovative; be Driven and strive for</p> <p>Excellence.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for maintenance of mechanical assets throughout the facility as set forth by the facility </li></ul> <p>maintenance manager.</p> <ul> <li>Perform all responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician I as needed. </li><li>Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material/product handling equipment </li></ul> <p>components.</p> <ul> <li>Complete preventative maintenance routines as directed. </li><li>Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and understand resources needed to resolve them. </li><li>Ensures equipment, tools, and spare parts are accounted for and secured when not in use. </li><li>Perform preventative / predictive and emergency maintenance of equipment using appropriate job plans, </li></ul> <p>procedures and manuals within safe, legal and contractually permissible limits.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays and proximity sensors. </li><li>Basic facility maintenance including but not limited to light electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry. </li><li>Assist in mentoring junior technicians by providing guidance and directions to help them develop. </li><li>Assist with basic electronics / Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) troubleshooting. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining spirit of teamwork and productivity among fellow maintenance personnel. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining qualifications to perform tasks through ongoing training programs of new and </li></ul> <p>existing equipment.</p> <ul> <li>Follows all established plant maintenance procedures. </li><li>Perform all functions necessary to ensure the efficient and reliable maintenance of the plant for optimized </li></ul> <p>production levels.</p> <ul> <li>Follow tool control and inventory program to support routine maintenance. </li></ul> <p>Education/Background Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Previous related work experience required. </li></ul> <p>Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required</p> <ul> <li>PC knowledge, Microsoft Office OS. </li><li>Experience with predictive / preventative maintenance tools and procedures. </li><li>Repair of material handling equipment. </li><li>Electrical & Electronic knowledge. </li><li>Requires a thorough understanding of all aspects of plant maintenance, and a good working knowledge </li></ul> <p>of carpentry, and plumbing.</p> <p>Shift : A2 Sunday - Tuesday 5 pm - 5 am Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Combination of office and refrigerated warehouse environment. </li><li>Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. </li></ul>
