Because Third Federal associates are the foundation of our success, we take a genuine interest in each of them - from their professional development to their health and wellness.</p> <p>Role Summary</p> <p>Third Federal Savings & Loan Association is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer / Administrator with strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to grow in a collaborative team environment. This role is critical for ensuring the health, security, and performance of our telecommunications systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>System Monitoring & Maintenance: </li><li>Perform daily health and security checks, log reviews, and backups for Avaya IP Office, ACR, Voicemail Pro, and related peripherals </li><li>Call Center Support: </li><li>Partner with Call Center Management to design, implement, and optimize applications such as ACD </li><li>Monitor ACD performance and generate reports for efficiency improvements </li><li>Vendor Collaboration: </li><li>Coordinate with external vendors on complex projects, including installations, upgrades, and maintenance of voice and data networks (SIP, LAN/WAN) </li><li>Maintain working knowledge of local, interstate carrier offerings and SIP trunking </li><li>Departmental Consultation: </li><li>Meet with department managers to assess telecom and IS service needs, conduct site surveys, and provide recommendations </li><li>User Setup & Support: </li><li>Handle new employee setups, adds/moves/changes for physical equipment and software </li><li>Provide remote and/or onsite support for relocation of branches and branch systems </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with Avaya systems, ACR (Xima), and call routing </li><li>Knowledge of placing Telco orders and billing reviews </li><li>Strong background in voice and data cabling installation and troubleshooting </li><li>Solid understanding of TCP/IP services and routing protocols, exposure to Juniper OS (Junos), DNS and DHCP in Microsoft environments is a plus </li><li>Proficiency with Windows OS, Linux, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills </li><li>Outstanding customer service and communication abilities (verbal and written) </li><li>Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to projects </li><li>High levels of initiative and dedication </li><li>Ability to travel occasionally and work after hours as needed </li><li>Experience with SIP trunking and unified communications preferred </li><li>Familiarity with compliance and security best practices for telecom systems preferred </li></ul> <p>Third Federal Perks & Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation packages </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, and more </li><li>401k match </li><li>11 Bank Holidays + vacation/sick time </li><li>Stock Ownership Allocation </li><li>Exceptional culture and value system </li><li>Strong work/life balance </li><li>Growth opportunities </li><li>Mortgage Discount Program </li><li>Education Reimbursement Program </li></ul> <p>Our anticipated pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually. At Third Federal, we're committed to transparency throughout the hiring process. The pay range listed is based on relevant market data, role responsibilities, and skills required for the position.
