<p>Job Description</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Thursday: 7:15 AM - 6:15 PM (8-hour shifts) </li><li>Friday: 7:15 AM - 4:15 PM </li><li>Location: Onsite </li><li>Training: 6-7 weeks or as needed </li></ul> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>This role oversees patient flow from initial point of entry to final destination, ensuring all services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and professionally. The position requires a high degree of multitasking and responsibility for accurate patient account resolution, including demographic and financial data entry, insurance processes, and communication with patients and payers.</p> <p>This position performs work of higher complexity compared to the Associate-Rehabilitation Clinical Support role and is held to elevated productivity and quality standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Register patients and create accurate demographic and financial records </li><li>Schedule recurring patient appointments </li><li>Perform insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits </li><li>Communicate with payers and patients to ensure complete and accurate financial information </li><li>Answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately </li><li>Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement initiatives </li><li>Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, regulatory, and equipment training requirements </li><li>Order, distribute, and maintain appropriate inventory of departmental supplies </li><li>Assist with timely and accurate resolution of patient accounts </li><li>Support smooth patient flow and high-quality patient experiences </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Two years of experience in Rehabilitation Services or similar duties (e.g., patient registration, insurance, scheduling) </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain strong professional relationships </li><li>Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) </li><li>Requires high-level interpersonal and problem-solving skills </li><li>Requires strong initiative with the ability to meet objectives and departmental expectations </li><li>Requires Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Requires excellent working knowledge of Associate-Clinical Support job duties </li></ul>
