<p>JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY</p> <p>Lead, manage, and guide all warehouse, inventory control, materials requirement planning, production planning, and supply chain operations. Responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant processes in shipping, receiving, raw material inventory, and finished goods management. Coordinate cross-functional efforts between Purchasing, Planning, Production, Quality, and Finance. Foster collaboration with the Los Banos procurement team to identify opportunities for cost savings, resolve issues, and ensure successful purchasing outcomes. Establish strong working relationships across the broader supply chain to support enterprise-wide success.</p> <p>Strategic leader with a hands-on approach and a proven ability to build high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement. Responsible for developing, mentoring, and coaching the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Inventory Managers within the supply chain team.</p> <p>Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Understand my role in food safety and regulatory responsibilities as required by the SQF Food Safety Code and report any food safety concerns to initiate appropriate action.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES % OF</p> <p>ITEM TIME JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ol> <li> <p>30% Monitor all process across Supply Chain to ensure efficient processes have been developed/modified to fit business needs as necessary to provide inventory accuracy at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>25% Coach, mentor, and develop the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Inventory Managers to enhance individual capabilities, build team strength, and support ongoing professional growth within the supply chain function.</p> </li><li> <p>10% Review inventory report to verify accuracy of incoming materials, accuracy of pre-staged materials, cycle count after each production, reporting of finished goods after each production, accuracy of shipments comparing actual shipping quantify and system quantity.</p> </li><li> <p>10% Review of customer open orders reports, production schedule to ensure finished goods fill rate goal is met. Collaborate with team to achieve efficient production planning minimize yield loss while maintaining adequate safety stock while preventing out of ship life inventory.</p> </li><li> <p>10% Review reports to ensure both ingredients and packaging materials are planned to prevent excess inventory, meeting production fill rate, and prevent expired materials.</p> </li><li> <p>10% Provide support to the Sales Team and collaborate with other departments, external customers, and the Los Banos procurement team on supply chain matters including product shortages, production issues, and sourcing strategies. A Master's degree is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Commitment to ongoing professional development through continued education, certifications, or industry training is expected.</p> <p>Years and Type of Related Experience Required:</p> <p>Minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience in manufacturing or food production environments is strongly preferred.
