<p>Challenger School is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team in Utah. As a maintenance technician at Challenger, you will be tasked with keeping our campuses safe, functional, and well-maintained. The standard work week is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm with occasional overtime opportunities. On a day-to-day basis, you will be inspecting facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to urgent repair requests, and coordinating larger maintenance projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems </li><li>Comply with OSHA standards, government licensing, safety, and operational requirements </li><li>Maintain interior and exterior functionality and safety of the school building </li><li>Keep school grounds clear and functional through all seasons </li><li>Occasionally travel to other Utah campuses to assist with maintenance tasks - 30-mile radius </li><li>Work patiently with coworkers and campus staff </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Reliable personal vehicle (mileage paid) </li><li>General knowledge/experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry. </li><li>Ability to pass background check </li><li>Completion of pre-employment assessments </li></ul> <p>Position Offerings</p> <ul> <li>Health Insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>401k </li><li>Significant tuition discounts for children and grandchildren </li></ul> <p>Please be on the lookout for an email from notify@dayforce.com.
