<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>IPG Photonics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead and grow our inside sales team for the LightWELD product line, a revolutionary hand-held laser welder that is transforming the traditional welding industry. In this role, you will manage a team of inside sales representatives, oversee the LightWELD Mobile Demonstration Program, and personally engage in direct sales activities to drive growth. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a high-growth, innovative product line while developing a high-performance sales team.</p> <p>JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment. </li><li>Sales Strategy: Define and implement sales strategies for the LightWELD product line, focusing on both individual and team goals. Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to ensure success. </li><li>Lead Management: Oversee the qualification process for inbound leads from marketing, tradeshows, demonstrations, and events, ensuring timely and effective follow-up by the team. </li><li>Demonstration Program Oversight: Lead the LightWELD Mobile Demonstration Program by managing logistics, scheduling, and coordination with internal departments to optimize the impact of demonstration events. </li><li>Customer & Partner Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for high-value customers and channel partners, ensuring consistent support and maximizing satisfaction. Identify and propose improvements to enhance customer and partner experiences. </li><li>Direct Sales: Engage in direct sales activities with key accounts, especially blue-chip customers, to drive LightWELD adoption as part of larger solutions and deals. </li><li>Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Direct Sales, Applications Engineering, and Marketing to align on sales strategies, execute marketing campaigns, and support tradeshows and lead-generating activities. </li><li>Sales Development & Reporting: Work closely with Marketing to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns. Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline development, and customer feedback to senior management. </li><li>Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the team provides exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and delivering a professional experience throughout the sales process. </li><li>Product Presentations: Conduct and oversee product demonstrations and presentations to showcase LightWELD's unique value proposition to customers. </li><li>Perform other essential duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business </li><li>3+ years of sales experience </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a technical or industrial B2B environment. </li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. </li><li>Solid organizational abilities with strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Self-motivation and enthusiasm are essential to generate various sales opportunities. </li><li>Technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies as required </li><li>Detailed oriented and strong time management skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively </li><li>Strong English language communications skills - written and verbal. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MBA preferred. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software Dynamics 365 </li><li>Knowledge of industrial equipment or laser technology is beneficial but not required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Essential physical requirements, such as standing, stooping, or typing </li><li>Travel requirements up to 25% </li></ul>
