<p>Job Title: Construction Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage school and municipal projects. This role requires strong experience in construction management and engineering, with a focus on project management and municipal design codes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage public client projects, including school and municipal projects. </li><li>Oversee project management activities, ensuring compliance with municipal design codes. </li><li>Utilize MS Project or Primavera P6 for project scheduling and tracking. </li><li>Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. </li><li>Manage change orders and estimate project costs. </li><li>Prepare and review proposals for new projects. </li><li>Act as an Owners' representative in construction and public works projects. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including 8 years in a project management role. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6. </li><li>Knowledge of municipal design codes. </li><li>Strong leadership skills in managing public clients. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in higher education and K-12 construction projects. </li><li>Ability to manage project engineering tasks. </li><li>Skills in program management and construction estimation. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment includes working from home and at construction sites, with occasional office meetings.
