<p>Job#: 3033250</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Authoring Specialist</p> <p>Location: Boston, Massachusetts (Onsite)</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>The Content Author Specialist is responsible for updating and maintaining site content. You will collaborate with various functions across digital teams to ensure content appears accurately on the site. The ideal candidate understands CMS tools, has a proven ability to learn new platforms, possesses strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Publish timely and accurate site content updates through a CMS platform. </li><li>Partner with digital merchandising and seasonal planning teams to ensure content is accurately scheduled and linked correctly across the site. </li><li>Conduct thorough QA of site content and links for site refreshes, product launches, A/B tests, and site acquisition efforts. </li><li>Partner with digital designers on site asset requirements and collaborate on design feedback. </li><li>Partner with digital product teams to identify CMS tool development needs. </li><li>Troubleshoot website issues and platform or tool issues. </li><li>Partner with other authors to maintain documentation and best practices for areas of ownership. </li><li>Support site enhancement projects and other special projects as needed. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Education: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is required.</p> <p>Experience: At least one year of experience in creating, maintaining, and publishing content from a CMS or in an ecommerce operational function is preferred.</p> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication, attention to detail, and organization skills. </li><li>Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once. </li><li>A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with customer-facing digital products is preferred. </li><li>Experience with SFCC and First Spirit CMS, or a demonstration of learning and onboarding a new tool, is preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>The pay rate for this position is $35.00 per hour.
