<p>Join a friendly and collaborative team, working alongside multiple employees to provide superior patient care in an outpatient setting. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with other specialty teams including neurological, geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, sports therapy, women's health, vestibular/balance, oncology, and low vision.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement </li><li>Assure benefits have been verified, authorization was received, and review intake documents for completion before the evaluation and follow up treatments per insurance guidelines </li><li>Scheduling patient follow up appointments per insurance guidelines and plan of care prescribed by evaluating clinician </li><li>Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductible at time of service </li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment </li><li>Maintaining patient records and accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating the account </li><li>Maintain communication with the center manager and provider relations specialist </li><li>Effectively communicate both verbally and written with referral sources and vendors </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>One year experience working in a medical office. </li><li>Basic understanding of insurance and authorizations. </li></ul> <p>Hours: M-F 8A-5P</p> <p>Location: 2849 South Orange Ave Suite 360 Orlando, FL 32806</p> <p>Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.</p> <p>Thriving in a culture that you can be proud of, you will also receive many employee benefits such as the following:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits package </li><li>Vacation/Paid Time Off </li><li>Retirement Plan </li><li>Employee Discounts </li><li>Clinical Education and Professional Development Programs </li></ul>
