<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching intensive, adjunct nursing faculty position, responsible for educating MSN students in both the classroom and clinical settings. </li><li>Engages in service to the school and university, and the profession. </li><li>Participates in faculty development. </li><li>Engages in the School of Nursing's Strategic Evaluation Plan. </li><li>Actively participate in the School of Nursing community including attendance at faculty meetings as indicated. </li><li>Holds an active unencumbered multistate RN license. </li><li>Holds an active, unencumbered APRN license in one or more of the following states: PA, GA, MN, MO, OK, OR, WA. </li><li>Eligible for VT APRN license and willingness to obtain at the time of appointment. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree required; Doctorate preferred. </li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a nurse practitioner </li><li>Active, unencumbered multistate RN license. </li><li>Active, unencumbered APRN license in one or more of the following states: PA, GA, MN, MO, OK, OR, WA </li><li>Eligible for VT APRN license and willingness to obtain at the time of appointment. </li><li>Current National Board Certification in one or more of the following specialties: Psychiatric-Mental Health NP, Family NP, Acute Care Adult Gerontology NP </li><li>Current clinical practice as a nurse practitioner </li><li>Evidence of effective teaching </li><li>Service to profession or community through membership in professional or community service organizations </li><li>Commitment to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Norwich University is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a positive education and work environment that recognizes and respects the dignity of all students, faculty and staff.
