This role is responsible for leading a team to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that build brand awareness and drive demand while partnering with stakeholders to drive overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be a leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a proven track record of delivering results through creative and data-driven strategies.</p> <p>The Marketing Director role is an in-person position which serves all Dean Dorton markets reporting to the COO and works in partnership with the CSO and Business Development Director for business development strategies. This role also collaborates internally with operational leaders such as Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, and Administration.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strategic Leadership: In partnership with Service Groups, Industry, and Market leaders and utilizing relevant data, oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the firm's vision, goals, and strategies. Define and deploy business and technical strategies, processes, and frameworks that deliver valuable experiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Leadership:</p> </li><li> <p>Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide regular coaching, feedback, and support career development within the team.</p> </li><li> <p>Help team members achieve performance objectives and KPIs, while ensuring alignment with departmental and company goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Brand Management: Oversee brand integrity and consistency across all marketing platforms and initiatives properly aligned with the firm's strategic plan. Work closely with the brand team to enhance the firm's position with significant digital impact.</p> </li><li> <p>Technology Integration: Collaborate with the marketing technology manager to leverage digital marketing tools and platforms for optimal performance. Keep on top of design and AI trends including best practices; constantly leading the team to innovate</p> </li><li> <p>Growth Marketing by Industry, Geography, and Digital Reach</p> </li><li> <p>Guide the team in developing and executing targeted marketing strategies to support business growth across key industries and sectors.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive localized marketing efforts in alignment with business priorities in the geographic areas where the company has offices.</p> </li><li> <p>Expand the company's national presence and visibility through compelling digital content, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Performance Metrics: Understand and utilize key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the Marketing Team.</p> </li><li> <p>Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.</p> </li><li> <p>Risk Management: Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing marketing efforts (e.g. SPAM, GDPR, private customer information)</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. </li><li>Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. </li><li>Skills: Strong strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms. </li><li>Industry Knowledge: Experience in advisory services or professional services (B2B) preferred. Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms (CRM, automation, analytics). </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. </li><li>Personal Attributes: Creative, innovative, team-centered, and results-driven individual with a passion for marketing and team development. </li></ul> <p>Travel: Will have to travel between Dean Dorton offices on a regular basis</p> <p>The Fun Stuff</p> <p>Work isn't all work!
