If you answered yes to these questions, we want you on our team!</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>This strategic role, reporting directly to the CEO, requires a leader who is equally comfortable developing high-level strategies and rolling up their sleeves to drive execution on the production floor. You will be responsible for setting the vision, leading Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence to support our ambitious growth objectives.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership and direction for all white pouch manufacturing operations (including contract manufacturing), ensuring alignment with the companys business objectives and growth strategies. </li><li>Develop and implement strategic white pouch manufacturing plans to align business strategy, productivity, and profitability within the manufacturing division </li><li>Lead the integration of new manufacturing technologies and digital tools to increase agility and competitiveness </li><li>Review analyses of cost, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives and provide regular updates to senior management on critical items </li><li>Establish and maintain strict quality control measures, meeting industry and customer standards </li><li>Create and maintain relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to supply chain, marketing, quality assurance, and research and development, to ensure cost-effective approaches in supply chain development and the integration of new developments and marketing campaigns into the manufacturing process </li><li>Lead the implementation of safety and environmental policies in compliance with government regulations and company standards to ensure a safe workplace </li><li>Direct the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency </li><li>Address employees issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements </li><li>Develop future leaders by providing resources and support to develop skills and capabilities through unique development opportunities </li><li>Lead the startup of new manufacturing projects, ensuring successful implementation and scaling. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>10+ years factory management experience serving in a senior leadership capacity </li><li>3+ years experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies </li><li>Results-oriented and team-oriented, with demonstrated ability to mobilize and manage people at all levels </li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management; specifically with high speed automated manufacturing </li><li>Strong leadership and strategic planning skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration </li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills </li><li>Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve operational targets </li><li>Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and compliance </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field </li><li>Established knowledge of the tobacco industry to include the execution of tobacco contracts, raw tobacco processing, and tobacco storage, white pouch manufacturing and formulation. </li></ul> <p>Lets talk money and perks!</p> <p>Turning Point Brands offer a competitive salary and benefits.</p> <ul> <li>12 Paid Holidays </li><li>PTO (Paid Time Off) </li><li>401K with company match </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance </li><li>Short Term Disability Insurance </li><li>Basic Life Insurance </li><li>Tuition Assistance </li><li>DailyPay </li></ul> <p>Turning Point Brands is an equal opportunity employer.
