<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Maintenance Inventory Specialist supports the daily operations of the maintenance storeroom and assists in managing spare parts and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) inventory. This role ensures all necessary materials are available to support timely maintenance and repair operations, while maintaining a clean and organized storeroom and accurate inventory records. This position will also assist in sourcing, bidding, and acquisition of required parts and materials needed by the Founder's Maintenance team. This position works closely with other members of the Maintenance team to drive department excellence and support operational goals.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <p>Incoming Inventory and Storeroom Management</p> <ul> <li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming spare parts and materials against purchase orders and packing slips. </li><li>Label, organize, and properly store spare parts in designated locations. </li><li>Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure parts availability. </li><li>Maintain clean, organized, and safe storeroom conditions. </li></ul> <p>Inventory Control</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. </li><li>Reconcile discrepancies and evaluate root causes of variances. </li><li>Monitor and maintain Maintenance keep stock, consumable inventory, and other department assets as needed. </li><li>Communicate part shortages or delays to maintenance leadership. </li><li>Maintain and evaluate records for accuracy of inventory transactions </li><li>Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures </li></ul> <p>Maintenance Kitting & Work Order Support</p> <ul> <li>Support the kitting of parts for planned maintenance work orders and projects. </li><li>Collect, stage, and organize materials for preventive and corrective maintenance activities. </li><li>Return unused parts from completed kits back into inventory accurately and promptly. </li><li>Assist maintenance team in evaluating current inventory and local availability for emergency parts. Assist in staging of emergency work. </li><li>Assist in improving kitting processes to reduce downtime and improve technician wrench time. </li></ul> <p>Vendor & Quotation Support</p> <ul> <li>Obtain competitive quotes for spare parts and maintenance supplies. Periodically evaluate standing suppliers for prices and lead times. </li><li>Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, availability, and delivery. </li><li>Maintain vendor contact lists, line cards, and pricing records. </li><li>Support cost comparison analysis for purchasing decisions. </li><li>Assist in tracking open orders and delivery timelines. </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency </li><li>Support implementation of inventory best practices, policies, and standards. </li><li>Support execution and tracking of in-house and third-party component rebuild workflows. </li><li>Participate in cost savings initiatives. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work rotating, off, or weekend shifts, as scheduled to cover production needs and demands; schedule will be dictated by workload and company needs. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED). </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li><li>Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment preferred. </li><li>Experience with shipping and receiving of material is a plus. </li><li>Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work. </li><li>Must be a great communicator. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Must show flexibility and be able to deal with uncertainty. </li><li>Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with inventory systems (Excel, CMMS, or ERP software) is preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of maintenance parts, tools, and terminology preferred. </li><li>Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, brewing, or related industries is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions. </li><li>Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or climb for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to operate pallet jack or forklift (training provided if needed). </li><li>Comfortable working around moving equipment, high noise levels, and manufacturing environments </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Hourly Pay. </li><li>Health, dental, vision, and other coverage for all employees starts date of hire. </li><li>401(k) matching </li><li>Paid time off, volunteer time, and floating holidays </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Paid sabbaticals with tenure </li><li>Paid parental leave for all employee </li></ul>
