<p>DEPARTMENT: Fabrication</p> <p>JOB TITLE: 1st Shift CNC SET-UP/OPERATOR</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Shift Facilitator</p> <p>SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 10 hr. shifts (Mon-Thurs) 7:00 am- 5:00 pm) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.</p> <p>STARTING PAY: $22.64 per hour with the opportunity to earn more.</p> <p>What You Will Be Responsible For:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Setup and adjust CNC Machines</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of Vertical CNC Mills (3 and 4 Axis)</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of Horizontal Mills</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of all CNC screens and functions</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Quality dept. to interpret layout data</p> </li><li> <p>Perform equipment/maintenance checks to include:</p> </li><li> <p>Able to understand material handling techniques to package parts off CNC as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in Continuous Improvement activities</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for all machined parts on the CNC machine.</p> </li><li> <p>Check coolant for refractometer reading</p> </li><li> <p>Mix and fill new coolant</p> </li><li> <p>Clean machine at the end of the shift</p> </li><li> <p>Use and control of daily paperwork to include:</p> </li><li> <p>Production sheet</p> </li><li> <p>Parts progress reports</p> </li><li> <p>Job traveler packet</p> </li><li> <p>SPC quality sheets</p> </li><li> <p>Other paperwork as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Work independently and as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to participate in a collaborative environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with safety policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment / Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. </li><li>The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Need:</p> <ul> <li>Able to read and understand inspection tools.
