<p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in preparation and review of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740), includes assisting and reviewing the preparation of numerous book vs. tax differences; </li><li>Assist in review of foreign income tax returns and reconciliation of US GAAP financials to local statutory tax returns; </li><li>Oversee completion of federal and state income tax returns, including all related analysis and support; </li><li>Perform in-depth tax research and evaluate alternative interpretations of key provisions in the US Internal Revenue Code using excellent professional judgment; </li><li>Assist with various tax-related projects (e.g. transfer pricing, tax planning initiatives, estimated tax calculations, R&D tax benefits and other incentives); </li><li>Coach, counsel and educate necessary Finance personnel and company leadership in tax compliance issues; </li><li>Manage the relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree plus CPA or MBA; </li><li>Advanced knowledge of federal tax compliance, federal tax accounting and provisions, tax analysis, and tax research; </li><li>Knowledge of ONESOURCE Income Tax is preferred; </li><li>Ability to supervise, oversee and provide direction to team members; </li><li>Ability to demonstrate effective communication including positive influencing skills, listening, and appropriate delegation; </li><li>Advanced analytical skills and the ability to review the analysis of others to ensure accuracy </li><li>Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business; </li><li>Ability to take ownership for projects and drive to timely completion. </li></ul> <p>Medpace Overview</p> <p>Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO).
