<p>Description</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Employee Benefits Account Manager possess a working knowledge of employee benefits products and processes. Exercises sound judgment, acting independently with a high degree of accuracy, providing account management support to Account Executive and Consultant colleagues. Prioritizes effectively and respond in optimal time frames while working in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates teamwork in daily service activities with internal colleagues leading into optimal client retention.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide administrative support to Account Executive and Senior Account Management team. Assist in creating presentation materials, spreadsheet reviews. </li><li>Execute day to day service transactions for clients to ensure retention within optimal time frames. </li><li>Act as client liaison between senior account management, account executive, and consultants. </li><li>Responsible for completing documents pertaining to customer administration, including Compliance, Analytics, and Wellness. </li><li>Meet client expectations regarding enrollment, billing and service matters. </li><li>Maintain working knowledge of vendors, carriers, and insurance products. </li><li>Actively participate in renewal strategy, execution of marketing, review of marketing results, and presentation. </li><li>Submit new business and process renewal(s) to carrier(s). </li><li>Utilize agency technology in software applications including agency management systems, document management systems and workflows. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree </li><li>1-3 years employee benefits Insurance experience with insurance carrier or brokerage firm. </li><li>Life & Health Insurance license </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of all types of funding </li><li>Excellent communication skills; verbal and written </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft office products Excel, Power Point, Word. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment </li></ul> <p>Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Workplace Type:</p> <p>Office</p> <p>Our Approach to Office Workplace Type</p> <p>Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
