This role ensures adherence to Hydro's Global IT Architecture Standards and Operational Processes. This position reports to the Lead ITS Analyst.</p> <p>Required Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field, Computer Science, Engineering, or the equivalent of 12 years work experience. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Technical Support. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience working with PC hardware, operating systems and software packages including Microsoft Office 365 applications. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years working with LAN infrastructure. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience with printers used in manufacturing environments and Wi-Fi technologies. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred and a valuable asset. </li><li>Additional knowledge of IT infrastructure and business applications preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills. </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the location's representative of GBS IT to business users for all computer systems. </li><li>Installing or assisting in the installation of computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and any other IT infrastructure components used at the above location(s). </li><li>Monitoring and maintaining location-specific computer systems, networks, and applications in compliance with Central and Local IT Operational Practices. </li><li>Actively participate in incident resolution by following prescribed procedure and workflows. </li><li>Collaborating with global support teams to resolve both IT infrastructure and application-related issues. </li><li>Providing IT infrastructure support and participating in the roll-out of new applications. </li><li>Prioritizing tasks and operating in compliance with GBS IT Service Level Agreements. </li></ul> <p>Hydro in North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer where all phases of employment are based strictly upon the qualifications of the individual as related to the work requirements of the position.
