<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>This clinician uses clinical skills to manage patients and supervise medical assistants in the performance of their duties. Based on Credentialing and Privileging manages pediatric, school-aged, adolescent and adult populations effectively in a rapidly growing private practice setting serving Medi-Cal patients. Works closely and effectively with front office and back office staff as well as other clinicians as needed to maintain effective patient management and efficient workflow. Must be enroll to CA Medi-Cal program or eligible.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Visible supporter of the mission, vision and values of the practice. </li><li>Maintains highest degree of confidentiality in donor, staff, client, fiscal and organizational matters; understands and meets HIPAA, OSHA and infection control requirements. </li><li>Remains up to date on best practices relevant to the position; enhances personal skills. </li><li>Completes continuing education as required to retain licensure or certificates and cooperates with credentialing requirements and requests. </li><li>Provides courteous and timely assistance to internal and external customers. </li><li>Meets time and attendance requirements for the position and uses work hours productively and appropriately. </li><li>Follows procedures and policies in completing work and making decisions. </li><li>Meets criminal background search clearance. </li><li>Meets practice health requirements to include annual flu vaccination and annual proof of negative TB test.
