<p>Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will develop and have oversight of the following:</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Finance</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining strong finance controls and safeguarding organization assets </li><li>Responsible for ensuring sufficient cash and investments for long-term strategic health and strength of the organization. </li><li>Preparing timely and accurate financial reports and presenting to CEO, Finance Committee and Board of Directors as required </li><li>Preparing and reviewing departmental and agency budgets and forecasts to ensure long term health of the organization. </li><li>Review departmental budgets and staffing with budget holders and prepare reports and analysis of variances. </li><li>Maintain all insurance policies and others contract, review and ensure current. </li><li>Oversight of all functions and staff in the following areas: </li><li>Cash Management </li><li>Accounting </li><li>Accounts payable </li><li>Accounts receivable </li><li>Front Desk </li><li>Facilities </li><li>Information Technology </li><li>Security </li><li>Audit </li><li>Supervision of all agency billing and monitoring of agency wide receivables </li><li>Play key role in developing agency wide financial and operational policies. </li><li>Monitoring purchasing procedures with Office Manager </li><li>Ensure compliance with all local, state and Federal regulations, as well as developing strong Internal Controls </li><li>Work with external auditors and ensure annual audit is done in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>Administration</p> <ul> <li>Overseeing day-to-day functions of KJCC administration, including finance, facilities, security, front desk and information technology. </li><li>Assist CEO and leadership team with development of a long-term strategic plan </li><li>Work as part of leadership team to create policies and procedures for successful operations. </li><li>Ensure the integrity and safety of organization operations, including physical security as well as internal and cyber-security with IT staff and support. </li><li>Update day-to-day planning, maintenance and efficiency reporting requirements. </li><li>Ensure compliance on a company, state and federal level. </li><li>Assist CEO and leadership team with outreach and business relations. </li><li>Maintain effective relationships with staff, board members and stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Facilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop daily, weekly and long-term maintenance plans with Director of Facilities for all JCC buildings and grounds, including: </li><li>Wellness Center and Gymnasium </li><li>Preschool </li><li>Outdoor and shared areas </li><li>Pool </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and other building code requirements. </li><li>Work with Director of Facilities to ensure all building functions, internal and external, are operating and have backup systems in case of mechanical and other issues. </li><li>Work with staff at Perelman Jewish Day school to ensure shared billing and schedules are maintained and we operate with great neighbor policy. </li><li>Maintain relationship with Federation partners on maintenance, lease and other concerns. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Finance & Cash Management </li><li>Accounting </li><li>Administration </li><li>Front Desk </li><li>Rentals </li><li>Schedules </li><li>EZ Facility maintenance </li><li>Membership & class registration </li><li>Facilities </li><li>Maintenance </li><li>Security </li><li>Grounds </li><li>Pool </li><li>Security </li><li>IT/Disaster Recovery </li><li>Other </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field </li><li>CPA or MBA preferred. </li><li>Minimum 5 years' relevant experience working in finance, accounting and management. </li><li>Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Proficient with accounting software packages, reporting and analysis. </li><li>Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger </li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail </li><li>Effective time management; highly organized and flexible in approach. </li><li>Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
