<p>Summary:</p> <p>The Part-Time Program Specialist supports the successful delivery of youth development programs with a focus on education, enrichment, and membership services. This role ensures a welcoming, organized, and safe environment while fostering academic success, healthy lifestyles, and positive character development.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Program Implementation & Youth Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Lead or support the delivery of engaging academic and enrichment activities in areas such as reading, STEM, and the arts. </li><li>Adapt activities to meet the needs of youth with various learning styles and backgrounds. </li><li>Offer tutoring or mentoring to support youth development and well-being. </li><li>Ensure program areas are safe, inclusive, and responsive to member needs. </li></ul> <p>Educational & Grant Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist with planning and tracking lessons related to education-focused grants. </li><li>Help collect pre/post-survey data and track attendance for grant compliance as needed. </li><li>Communicate youth progress and concerns with parents, schools, and the Club Director. </li></ul> <p>Membership & Administrative Duties</p> <ul> <li>Welcome families and visitors, answering questions about programs and services. </li><li>Assist with membership processing, attendance tracking, and maintaining accurate records in tracking systems. </li><li>Help collect program fees and distribute communication materials to families. </li><li>Support compliance for Child Care Certificate Programs and DHS reporting under the direction of senior staff. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Build positive relationships with youth, families, school personnel, and staff. </li><li>Promote Club activities and events, sharing updates with families and the community. </li><li>Help coordinate special events, field trips, and Club celebrations. </li></ul>
