<p>What We Do - Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Inbound Transportation and Order Management teams to determine if arriving orders are candidates for pre-routing to reduce the risk of order cancellations </li><li>Follow up with customers and carriers to encourage timely pick up of orders that are ready and eligible for routing </li><li>Follow customers' routing instructions to minimize chargebacks </li><li>Maintain accurate records for customer paid orders and orders for which routing instructions need to be communicated to DC operations </li><li>Identify and recommend routing efficiencies </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Assigned specific outbound customers / accounts </li><li>Support and build relationships with assigned accounts </li><li>Use warehouse management system to identify orders that are available for shipment creation </li><li>Schedule and communicate pick up appointments and follow up as necessary to ensure on-time pick-ups </li><li>Monitor emails and customer routing portals for customer response to routing requests </li><li>Utilize reporting tools to monitor shipment pickup status </li><li>Update & communicate shipping schedule with Operations leadership, including orders that could be at-risk </li><li>Generate and organize all related paperwork and required information for customer orders, and retain in appropriate files </li><li>Maintain current and create new work instructions, accurately detailing shipping requirements for each account </li><li>Effective usage of TMS (transportation management system) for shipment building / creation </li><li>Maintains critical internal & external customer, carrier, and order management contacts </li><li>Works to identify and partner with carriers, customers, and order management to resolve capacity and service issues </li><li>Plan with DC operations daily to ensure continuous product flow </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications & Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree preferred </li><li>Experience in a Distribution Center, Transportation Department or Customer Service field preferred </li><li>Ability to partner with multiple cross-functional teams </li><li>Ability to problem solve and innovative thinking abilities </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Proven organizational, prioritization and time management abilities </li><li>Ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing </li><li>Capability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneously, without compromising quality </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, basic typing skills and experience with a Warehouse Management System/Transportation Management System (TMS) </li><li>PKMS & AS400 knowledge preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and/or Environment</p> <ul> <li>Office/Cubicle/Distribution Center </li></ul>
