<p>Corporate Governance Paralegal (Temp-to-Hire)</p> <p>Chicago, IL | Hybrid</p> <p>$31-$48 per hour (based on experience)</p> <p>LHH has partnered with a nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Paralegal to join its Chicago office on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a sophisticated corporate and transactional team supporting high-level clients and complex matters.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage entity compliance, annual filings, and regulatory deadlines (including FinCEN)</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and file UCCs and obtain corporate records from Secretary of State offices</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain corporate records, entity files, and due diligence materials</p> </li><li> <p>Support corporate, lending, and business transactions from start to finish</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate closings, prepare closing binders, and handle post-closing follow-up</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a key point of contact with attorneys, clients, vendors, and government agencies</p> </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years of corporate, commercial, or transactional paralegal experience in a law firm</p> </li><li> <p>Strong background in entity formation, annual filings, UCCs, and corporate record maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of IL and DE Secretary of State systems (Florida a plus)</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with the Corporate Transparency Act preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a fast-paced workload</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>Competitive hourly rate of $31-$48, depending on experience</p> </li><li> <p>Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, EAP, commuter benefits, and a 401(k) plan</p> </li><li> <p>Paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave (where required by law), other paid leave required by federal, state, or local law, and paid holidays upon meeting eligibility requirements</p> </li></ul> <p>Why This Role</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work with a top-tier national law firm in its Chicago office</p> </li><li> <p>Gain exposure to complex corporate and transactional matters</p> </li><li> <p>Temp-to-hire role with long-term potential</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborative environment with a strong, well-established corporate practice</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay Details: $31.00 to $48.00 per hour</p> <p>Search managed by: Katie Soderberg</p> <p>Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
