<p>As Production Supervisor, you will provide leadership for all aspects of the plant operations. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of all operations, equipment, and production of our high-quality feed grade soybean meal in our Certified facility. As a self-directed, quality and safety-minded hands-on team leader with a strong mechanical aptitude, you will lead and work alongside our team of Mill Operators to oversee the monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting of our milling process, testing product quality, inventory control, and ensuring safe and accurate loading and unloading of soybeans and finished product.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>With strategic focus, leads and directs all aspects of the day-to-day operations in the plant including daily production, maintenance, quality control, planning and logistics and project execution. </li><li>Provide operational efficiencies of the mill including parts inventory and bean inventory and product quality. </li><li>Oversee all Mill Operator activity and performance including, but not limited to, scheduling work shifts, reviewing and approving timesheets and time off requests, and addressing any performance and/or employee relations concerns. </li><li>Lead, coach, and mentor all Mill Operators to achieve goals and ensure the safe and efficient operation, production, and continuous improvement of our mill. </li><li>First point of contact on a 24/7 basis to resolve any operational, logistical, or technical issues, including any mechanical breakdowns. </li><li>Maintains and adheres to quality standards in the plant that satisfy the requirements of ISO standards along with working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Assurance Technician. </li><li>Maintain designated sanitary schedule to Soybean Roasting standards. </li><li>Advise of any staffing requirements, operational issues or shortcomings that could affect the operations. Work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to recruit, onboard and train new team members and provide performance management standards and execute any Learning and Development Management Programs. </li><li>Provide leadership that promotes customer service, teamwork, personal accountability, cooperation, and career development. </li><li>Work closely with the Safety Director to monitor and validate the Workplace Safety Program' </li><li>Direct plant operational policies and procedures and leads plant safety initiatives and instills safety-based behaviors in constant pursuit of zero lost-time and incidents. Is the primary contact with local authorities and ensures adherence to all legal and regulatory aspects of running the operation: OSHA, EPA, Department of Ag, etc. </li></ul>
