<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Facilitates, prior authorizes, and schedules MercyOne Clinic patients for appointments, referrals tests and procedures. Adheres to MercyOne Northeast Iowa's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of MercyOne.</p> <p>What you will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Receives and reviews referral orders. </li><li>Contacts insurance company to assure prior approval. </li><li>Provides problem-solving support for the referral process. </li><li>Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served. </li><li>Acts as a collaborating member of the clinic medical home team and is highly committed to a team construct. </li></ul> <p>Hours/Schedule:</p> <p>80 Hours Biweekly M-F/8-5 Full-Time</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of one year of experience </li><li>Graduate of an accredited nursing or medical assistant program preferred. Candidates with Certification and/or appropriate experience in a related field (lab, X-ray, etc.) or experience with insurance prior authorization may be considered. </li><li>Current license and/or certification in accordance with education.
