Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.</p> <p>Special Duties/Responsibilities: Duties include lunch and recess supervision, classroom support and other duties as assigned. Possible temporary hours may become available in October.</p> <p>Salary Range: $25.29 - $28.74 (Paraeducator A) per 2024-25 Public School Employees Salary Schedule (Anticipated salary increase effective September 1, 2025.)</p> <p>Above pay rates do not include holiday and pay in lieu of vacation, which increases the hourly compensation.</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Start Date: September 3, 2025 </li><li>Shift: Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. </li><li>Paid Hours: 3.0 hours per day Monday through Thursday and 2.0 hours per day on Friday </li><li>Calendar: 9 months/year; enjoy time office during spring break, winter break and summer, plus 10 paid holidays. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet one (1) of the following:</p> </li><li> <p>Have received a score of 455 on the ETS ParaPro (https://www.ets.org/parapro),or a qualifying score on the Pearson Paraprofessional assessment or Master Teacher Inc. Paraeducator Training Program</p> </li><li> <p>Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university</p> </li><li> <p>Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university</p> </li><li> <p>Upon hire, must complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits: For eligible positions, the district offers a competitive benefits package including Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB), a Washington state retirement package, and paid time off. Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
