The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, helping them achieve their full potential in academic, social, and emotional development.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate interventions. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and well-being. </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided. </li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies. </li><li>Stay current with best practices and methodologies in school psychology. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. </li><li>Valid state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist. </li><li>CT: School Psychologist (070) </li><li>Experience working in a school setting is preferred. </li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals. </li></ul> <p>Best Practices and Methodologies:</p> <ul> <li>Evidence-Based Practice: Utilize research and evidence-based methods to inform assessment and intervention strategies. </li><li>Collaborative Practice: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment. </li><li>Cultural Competence: Respect and incorporate students' cultural and linguistic backgrounds into interventions. </li><li>Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention during crises to ensure student safety and well-being. </li><li>Ongoing Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field. </li></ul>
