<p>As a Senior Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's procurement projects and initiatives. You will play a pivotal part in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment across the procurement function.</p> <p>You will report directly to our Procurement Manager, and you will work out of our Northford, CT location on an On-site work schedule.</p> <p>In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in project management, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Oversee procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and timeline. </li><li>Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks specific to NPI, including single-source risks, capacity constraints, and long lead-time material dependencies. </li><li>Lead Sourcing Activities: Own the end-to-end sourcing process for all new components, materials, and services required for NPI projects. </li><li>Cost Management: Create and manage cost models, targeting cost reductions throughout the product lifecycle, especially during NPI. </li><li>Negotiation: Handle RFQs and competitive bids.
