<p>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position Summary</p> <p>The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, supporting patients' comfort and assisting with daily living activities and clinical procedures.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance. </li><li>Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment. </li><li>Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom. </li><li>Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner. </li><li>Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness. </li><li>Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting. </li><li>Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings. </li><li>Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Ability to prioritize and multitask in a healthcare environment.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.</p> <p>Education: Completion of a nursing assistant training course.</p> <p>Experience: Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.</p> <p>License: Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.</p> <p>Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required.</p>
