Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating </li><li>Describe specials of the day to guests; answer questions regarding any menu item and offer suggestions when appropriate </li><li>Take food and beverage orders from guests and deliver food promptly after preparation </li><li>Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed </li><li>Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests </li><li>Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties </li><li>Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system </li><li>Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders </li><li>Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques </li><li>Practice tray service for all food and beverage service </li><li>Incorporate safe work practices in job performance </li><li>Perform other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Must be able to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position </li></ul> <p>Other Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Regular and reliable attendance </li></ul>
