<p>Utah Valley University is seeking a student to assist the Student Life department!</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and create digital and print materials (primarily advertisements) for the office of Student Leadership and Involvement</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate assigned publication from conception to final product.</p> </li><li> <p>Design original projects that meet client specifications and promote a positive image of the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate artistically creative designs using Adobe Creative Suite.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect projects to suggest improvements and adherence to UVU graphic standards and avoid copyright infringement.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a current UVU student.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process.</p> </li><li> <p>Skill in computers and computer applications, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Skill in graphic design, page layout, and photo manipulation. </p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency with After Effects.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of computer programs and applications and ability to create a variety of printed materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in advertisements for events, campaigns, and projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in basic marketing strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to design and create printed materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow through from conception to completion of multiple design jobs with little supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate with clients regarding specifications of projects. </p> </li></ul>
