And we're just getting started!</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Scrum Master will be responsible for managing project teams to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions for Planet Fitness members, Franchisees, and Club Support Center team members. The Scrum Master will efficiently and effectively plan and manage discreet, well-defined project initiatives from inception to completion. The Scrum Master will also ensure teams are adhering to delivery processes and standards to drive a culture of quality, consistency, predictability, and reliability. The Scrum Master will be a dynamic team member with the ability to lead high-performing teams, drive initiatives to high-quality and timely completion, effectively communicate will all levels of the organization, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced, date driven environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage project delivery teams focused on delivering technology solutions for Planet Fitness members, franchisees, and the Club Support Center </li><li>Facilitate daily stand-ups, iteration/sprint planning, sprint reviews, and iteration/sprint retrospectives </li><li>Guide teams in work estimation best practices and facilitate team estimation process </li><li>Collaborate with Product Management team to understand project scope, product features, and business priorities to ensure proper prioritization and execution of team backlog </li><li>Collaborate with Product Managers and Technology leads to resolve problems and remove project roadblocks </li><li>Collaborate with PMO team to understand and adhere to portfolio and program management processes and support status reporting, risk and issue management, and communications processes for senior leadership </li><li>Communicate project delivery risks and trade-off considerations where and when appropriate </li><li>Proactively escalate risks, issues and blockers to leadership in a timely manner to minimize impact to delivery timelines </li><li>Maintain team and project management artifacts using the required tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.) </li><li>Collaborate with PMO and Technology leadership on the team capabilities, skills, and staffing required for successful project delivery </li><li>Ensure accurate time tracking by team members for budget management and tracking </li><li>Execute effective, accurate, appropriate, and timely communication to PMO, Product Management, and Technology leadership to ensure business outcomes and objectives are met </li><li>Provide content and input for project presentations and updates to management and other stakeholders where applicable </li><li>Instill a sense of urgency and mutual responsibility within project teams to achieve business goals and meet expected outcomes </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience </li><li>3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager leading a scrum/project delivery team responsible for delivering projects of low to moderate complexity in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment </li><li>Working knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, user stories, sprint planning, backlog refinement) </li><li>Working knowledge of agile metrics (e.g., task management, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, team velocity, user stories, etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning and project delivery </li><li>Working knowledge of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development </li><li>Experience training teams on agile methodology and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) </li><li>Experience using a variety of project delivery approaches including traditional project management and Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies </li><li>Possess an understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure, software development & maintenance, application integrations, mobile software and IOS development, software testing, and IT architecture </li><li>Experience identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues impeding project delivery </li><li>CSM certification preferred, PMP certification a plus </li><li>Consulting experience a plus </li><li>Experience working in a franchisor/franchisee company environment a plus </li><li>Ability to perform a range of functions including business systems analysis, business and technical requirements definition, software testing, data validation and process improvement </li><li>Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and consensus building skills with experience resolving conflict and challenging situations in a productive manner </li><li>Ability to be flexible and adaptable with a
