Nowhere is this more critical than securing the identities of the employees, external users, and customers that drive the modern digital business.</p> <p>If you are a self-motivated entrepreneur looking for a fast-paced challenge doing something that truly matters, come join our winning team!</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manages monthly revenue recognition on a global basis to ensure revenue is accurately recorded for all booked deals. </li><li>Leads revenue assurance process to advise sales on deal construction to ensure all deals that are booked are clean to streamline the revenue recognition process. </li><li>Analyze revenue segments, revenue arrangements, deferred revenue balances on a monthly and quarterly basis to identify any errors. </li><li>Serves as technical revenue expert in all ASC 606 matters. </li><li>Perform updates to management's SSP analysis. </li><li>Oversees the analysis and reporting of accounting data for both external reporting and internal Management decision making/analysis. </li><li>Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures, and policies. </li><li>Support all revenue related external audit requests. </li><li>Serves as change agent, scaling of operation through automation, and a keen eye for process improvement. </li><li>Participate in the preparation of accounting memos, including accounting research, for significant and unusual contracts. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Revenue recognition thought leadership. </li><li>Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, especially in a SaaS environment, and how to apply them in different scenarios. </li><li>Strong analytical mind that can review big data to assess whether there is an issue to needs investigation. </li><li>Willing to get into details to help resolve any issues. </li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP relevant to the area of work </li><li>Experience within the software industry </li><li>Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is preferred </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on revenue recognition/ASC 606. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred </li></ul> <p>RSA is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
