<p>Position Summary</p> <p>In this position, you will assist in project funding requests for federal, state, and sponsor funds including reporting of grant expenditure reports and timely project financial closeouts. You will support the administration of federal grants by developing and maintaining reports for non-primary entitlement monitoring and reconciliation. Other duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Setting up new airport development projects in the department's financial operating system. </li><li>Developing and maintaing financial statements for airport development projects. </li><li>Assist the Airport Accountant and Financial Specialist - Advanced to reconcile and process State Aid project closeouts. </li><li>Perform additional accounting, bookkeeping, and auditing duties. </li></ul> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in schedule-range (02-13). Starting pay is $26.08/hr, plus excellent benefits. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>This state agency does not sponsor work visas. This state agency is not enrolled in USCIS E-Verify and is not eligible to employ international F-1 students seeking STEM-OPT extension. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.</p> <p>Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check which may include FBI fingerprinting.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualified applicants will have all the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience following and referencing financial principles and/or procedures. </li><li>Experience preparing and maintaining project financial reports </li><li>Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel software or similar. </li></ul> <p>In addition to having all the above, well qualified applicants will have one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience performing account reconciliations. </li><li>Experience managing federal grant funds. </li><li>Experience working within PeopleSoft or other comparable finance module or software. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
