<p>Scope of Position:</p> <p>Works under the direction and supervision of the Laboratory Manager in support of new product development and existing product improvement projects.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standards.</p> <ul> <li>Configures test stations and prepare product for internal testing (includes water, drain, fuel, vent and electrical connections) </li><li>Ascertains gauge and instrument calibration status </li><li>Maintains orderly work environment </li><li>Adheres to laboratory safety policies </li><li>Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <p>The Laboratory Technician I must possess the minimum knowledge listed below:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma </li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude and a fundamental understanding of electrical circuits and basic safety devices </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours based on workload, projects, changes in schedules etc. </li><li>Have reliable transportation to and from work </li><li>Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook </li><li>Must also be creative, flexible and an innovative team player </li></ul>
