<p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of Electrical Engineering Associate working out of our Columbia, South Carolina office.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for project. </li><li>Assists Senior Engineers with the development and design of documents and other related tasks. </li><li>May assist in client contact and communication, and attends client meetings. </li><li>Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects. </li><li>Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. </li><li>Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed. </li><li>Performs other duties as requested. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from accredited program and Engineer Intern Certification. Minimum of 2 years of </li></ul> <p>engineering experience</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of Auto Cad, Micro station, and other essential equipment for field and office work </li><li>Walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally reach with hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally climb 25-30 feet. </li><li>Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
