<p>Job Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a passionate and engaged Student Ambassador to represent the Criminology and Criminal Justice Graduate Program. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, outgoing, and responsible student who is eager to promote the program at various events, assist in event management, and communicate with prospective and new students. This position will start as soon as selection of candidate is complete.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <ul> <li>Attend university promotional events </li><li>Speak about the program to prospective students </li><li>Support in preparing event materials, including the creation of flyers or invitations </li><li>Assist in improving and updating program publicity materials, including bulletin boards, websites, social media, and newsletters </li><li>Outreach to prospective and admitted students through various channels </li><li>Assist faculty in organizing program events </li><li>Attend regular meetings with the Criminology and Criminal Justice Graduate Director </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Active student enrolled in a traditional Master's program or a 4+1 program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Strong writing skills </li><li>Familiar with Google Suite of products (e.g. Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.) </li><li>Some knowledge of the Criminology, Law, and Criminal Justice Program </li><li>Willingness to commit to full academic year of work (Fall 2025 + Winter 2026 semesters) </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Active student enrolled in Criminology and Criminal Justice Master's program or a 4+1 program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn </li><li>Some experience with event planning and/or project management </li><li>Some experience with marketing and/or PR </li><li>Some experience working with media, social media, image editing, and/or graphic design </li></ul> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
