This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on delivering timely, accurate, and compassionate care to our patients in a primary care setting.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Perform basic clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection</p> </li><li> <p>Clean and prepare exam rooms between patients</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and update patient records in the EMR system</p> </li><li> <p>Handle patient communication, including phone calls, messages, and follow-ups</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering</p> </li><li> <p>Support clinic flow to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other responsibilities as directed</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred </li><li>Current Medical Assistant certification preferred </li><li>CPR/BLS certification preferred </li><li>Fluent in English </li><li>Spanish-speaking preferred </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Strong clinical and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong patient care focus </li></ul> <p>About Prime Meridian Health Clinics</p> <p>Prime Meridian Health Clinics is an integrative medicine group committed to providing a patient-centered healthcare experience.
