Write the next chapter of your ABB story.</p> <p>This position reports to</p> <p>Sales Manager</p> <p>Your role and responsibilities</p> <p>In this role, you will have the opportunity to adapt and implement sales support strategy using specific technical capability for the designated area in line with the global support strategy and focus on supporting configuration and quotation requirements. Each day, you will oversee estimations, bids, and proposals, ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures. The work model for the role is: #LI-remote This role is contributing to the Electrification Services division in North America. You will be mainly accountable for: •Partnering with Business Development Sales Managers and the technical support team including application engineering and field services to provide cost and price for services and equipment needed to develop work scopes and create timely, professional customer-ready proposals. •Working with the Region sales team to understand customer requirements, develop deal strategies and analyze the competitive landscape and market pricing. •Managing the entire opportunity and proposal screening, development, approvals and pricing processes, working in salesforce.com for all active opportunities. •Demonstrating strong ability to balance multiple priorities and opportunities. •Managing deadlines and set the correct expectations concerning cycle times and milestones, working with end customers, sales reps and distributors. •Understanding terms and conditions and how they impact risk profile and costs. •Ensuring process adherence to all government contracting requirements.</p> <p>Qualifications for the role</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service </li><li>Ability and willingness to travel as required </li><li>Preferred Qualifications: </li><li>Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems. </li><li>Technical experience with commercial/industrial customers and processes. </li><li>Experience with government funded projects that include prevailing wages requirements. </li><li>Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers. </li><li>Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. </li></ul> <p>More about us</p> <p>ABB's Service Division partners with our customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability and sustainability of electrical products and installations.
